Typical food of Cantabria

"Sobaos"








Ingredients:

200g butter
200g sugar
175g flour
3 eggs
1/2 of baking powder
2 tablespoons anise
Butter to grease the paper


Mix flour with the yeast. Beat eggs and add sugar. Mix and add the flour, dill, lemon zest and butter. Toss all ingredients into a paste. Let stand 10 minutes.  Preheat oven to 175 ºC. Grease paper cups and fill them with batter. Cook the sobaos for 15 minutes. Serve cold.
